HeyMath! was founded in May 2000 by Nirmala Sankaran and Harsh Rajan on a worldview that there is no perfect education system. We're based in Chennai, India, and are privately funded. Contact our founders.

We've made it our mission to create a flat world curriculum by diligently seeking out proven best practices from great teachers and discerning parents around the world. Our highly capable Math editors then blend this collective wisdom into bite-sized animated and interactive explanations that provide concept clarification visually and help remove the fear of Math. HeyMath! lessons are developed with advice from the University of Cambridge and endorsed by the Singapore Teachers' Union.

This site has been designed to be a tool for teachers, school administrators and support staff.

The NEPAD e-Schools Initiative, which was publicly launched in Durban at the Africa Summit of the World Economic Forum on June 12, 2003, is aimed at preparing Africa for the future by imparting ICT skills and knowledge to the young generation, who constitute the majority of Africa's population, to enable them to function and participate as equals in the emerging global economy and information society of the 21st century.

Pour marquer son 35ème anniversaire, le MIE (Mauritius Institute of Education) a décidé de susciter à travers une série d’activités une réflexion générale sur «l’école pour tous». Parmi, une conférence internationale, ouverte au public, sur «Education and knowledge-based economies – Learner empowerment in small island states» qui se déroulera du 9 (ouverture à 16h 30) au 12 avril dans les locaux de l’Institut à Réduit.

La cérémonie d’ouverture a eu lieu mercredi 9 avril à 16h 30 au Lecture Theatre Frank Richard en présence de l’Honorable D. Gokhool, ministre de l’Education....

Peter Senge’s vision of a learning organization as a group of people who are continually enhancing their capabilities to create what they want to create has been deeply influential. We discuss the five disciplines he sees as central to learning organizations and some issues and questions concerning the theory and practice of learning organizations.
