Expanding education and improving its quality is central to the development of Africa. If we want to realize the goal of quality education for all, faculties of education in Africa need to actively take the lead.

It is extremely important for educationists in Africa to meet and deliberate on educational issues in Africa. It is our responsibility to share our knowledge with one another and strengthen our intellectual capacity regarding education in Africa.

The DETA 2009 Conference will create a unique platform to achieve the above. The previous DETA 2007 Conference attracted more that 200 educationists from 30 countries in Africa. The DETA 2009 promises to be an even bigger event. Plan now for your attendance at this exiting conference.
