We attend to your queries concerning general administration as well as matters pertaining to registration of students and related issues.

Qualifications:
Credit in five subjects including English Language, French Language and Mathematics at the School Certificate level, or GCE ‘O’ level equivalents.
TOGETHER WITH
Two passes at ‘A’ level, one of which should be Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science.
OR
Acceptable alternative qualifications.
NOTE: In lieu of ‘Credit’ in English Language, ‘Pass’ in English Language + ‘Credit’ in English Literature or ‘Pass’ in General Paper at HSC level is acceptable.
In lieu of ‘Credit’ in French Language, ‘Pass’ in French Language + ‘Credit’ in French Literature is acceptable.
Duties:
1. To assist with the collection, compilation, computation and processing of data.
2. To draw up and write simple flow charts and programmes under supervision.
3. To record data on magnetic tapes/discs and operate a computer.
4. To supervise clerical staff performing data processing duties.
5. To perform other cognate duties.
Salary Scale : Rs 12,300 x 300 – 13,800 x 400 – 15,000 x 500 -
16,000 x 600 – 23,200 x 800 – 26,400
7 Graphic Designer
Qualifications:
(a) Cambridge School Certificate with credit in five subjects or any other acceptable alternative qualification.
(b) Two subjects at ‘A’ Level, with at least one ‘A’ Level in Art/Design or related field or any other acceptable alternative qualification.
(c) A Diploma in Visual Arts or Graphic Designing or Communication Graphic or an equivalent qualification
(d) Proficiency in operating Hardware & Graphics Software in both Macintosh and PC Platform would be an advantage.
Note: In the absence of the above qualifications, consideration will be given to internal candidates with at least five years experience as Graphics Artist.
Duties:
1. To do research and investigation work related with graphics work.
2. To create, design and produce publications (Newsletters; Brochures; Manuals; Journals etc.) and graphical presentation
3. To assist academics in producing educational and multi-media teaching materials
4. To be responsible for the work from pre-press conception to printing/on-line publications
5. To develop Multi Media instructional materials using appropriate equipment and techniques.
6. To operate Macintosh/PC Graphics Stations and other graphics equipment using graphics softwares such as Adobe Photoshop; Illustrator; Freehand; Quark Xpress; Macromedis Dreamweaver and Flash.
Salary Scale: Rs 14,200 x 400 – 15,000 x 500 – 16,000 x 600 – 23,200 x 800 –
28,000 x 1,000 – 29,000
8 Clerk/Word Processing Operator
Qualifications:
Credit in five subjects including English Language, French Language and Mathematics at the Cambridge School Certificate level.
OR GCE ‘O’ level equivalents.
OR Acceptable alternative qualifications.
NOTE: In lieu of ‘Credit’ in English language, ‘Pass’ in English language + ‘Credit’ in English Literature or ‘Pass’ in General Paper at HSC level is acceptable.
In lieu of ‘Credit’ in French Language, ‘Pass’ in French Language + ‘Credit’ in French Literature is acceptable.
In lieu of ‘Credit’ in Mathematics, ‘Pass’ in Mathematics + ‘Credit’ in Statistics or Computer Science/Studies is acceptable.
A typing speed of not less than 30 words per minute.
Knowledge of Shorthand will be an advantage.
Duties:
- To perform Clerical duties
2. To take down dictation, perform word processing and computer data processing works
3. To perform other cognate duties.
Salary Scale: Rs 9,600 x 200 – 10,200 x 250 – 11,700 x 300 – 13,800 x 400 – 15,000 x 500 – 16,000 x 600 – 19,600
9 Clerical Officer/Higher Clerical Officer
Qualifications:
Credit in five subjects including English Language, French Language and Mathematics at the Cambridge School Certificate level or GCE ‘O’ level equivalents.
OR Acceptable alternative qualifications.
NOTE: In lieu of ‘Credit’ in English Language, ‘Pass’ in English Language + ‘Credit’ in English Literature or ‘Pass’ in General Paper at HSC level is acceptable.
In lieu of ‘Credit’ in French Language, ‘Pass’ in French Language + ‘Credit’ in French Literature is acceptable.
In lieu of ‘Credit’ in Mathematics, ‘Pass’ in Mathematics + ‘Credit’ in Statistics or Computer Science/Studies is acceptable.
Duties:
i. To perform duties of a clerical nature such as :
- The preparation and scrutiny of straightforward documents, records etc.
- The preparation of simple documents subject to check.
- Simple arithmetical work.
- Routine registry work.
- Routine finance, establishment and stores work under supervision.
- Simple correspondence usually in the type of stock form letters or printed replies sent under general instruction.
ii. To carry out pay duties as and when required.
iii. To assist in the collection, compilation and processing of data generally.
iv. To perform other cognate duties.
Salary Scale: Rs 9,600 x 200 – 10,200 x 250 – 11,700 x 300 – 13,800 x 400 – 15,000 x 500 – 16,000 x 600 – 19,600
10 Stores Attendant
Qualifications:
The Primary School Leaving Certificate (PSLC) or an acceptable alternative qualification.
Duties
1. To collect, carry, load, unload stores materials.
2. To deliver stores materials to Sections making request.
3. To collect and despatch stores correspondence.
4. To examine doors and locks frequently.
5. To keep storerooms and related offices clean.
6. To do proper classification of items of stocks.
7. To perform other cognate duties.
Salary Scale : Rs 7,400 x 200 – 10,200 x 250 – 11,700
