Curriculum Framework for Kindergarten to Year 12 Education in Western Australia
This book draws on material contained in the curriculum statements and profiles for Australian schools published by the Curriculum Corporation.
Arkansas curriculum frameworks
Revision of each of the Arkansas curriculum frameworks every six years is required by the state education reform initiatives mandated by the State Board of Education. All curriculum framework documents result from the work of a committee of Arkansas educators representing every facet of Arkansas education, including geographic region, grade, school size and fiscal status, gender, ethnicity, and education experience. State Board rules for framework revision specify that committees rely on a variety of resources to inform their work. These include an expert reviewers’ evaluation of the current framework, input from the Arkansas Department of Higher Education and the Arkansas Department of Workforce Education, and a review of national standards and state standards from across the nation. California Dept of Education Curriculum frameworks are the blueprints for implementing the content standards adopted by the State Board of Education (SBE). Frameworks are developed by the Curriculum Development and Supplemental Materials Commission, which also reviews and recommends textbooks and other instructional materials to be adopted by the SBE.
The Michigan Curriculum Framework is a state curriculum framework composed of three tiers. Tier I presents content standards and benchmarks, and sections specific to planning, teaching and learning, assessment, and professional development; it also includes a set of appendices containing several executive summaries and a glossary of framework terms. Tier II contains a collection of toolkits to help districts with discrepancy analyses, connecting with the learner, technology, curriculum integration, making school-to-work connections, planning subject-area instructional units, designing classroom assessments, and planning a district assessment system. Tier III contains specific content-area resources that help clarify the curriculum development process; it contains documents such as the Science Education Guidebook, Mathematics Teaching and Learning Sample Activities, Guidelines for the Professional Development of Teachers of English Language Arts, and Powerful and Authentic Social Studies Standards for Teaching, as well as a guidebook written specifically for parents and the business community explaining the elements of the framework. For additional information, refer to the online Michigan Curriculum Framework from the Michigan Department of Education. What follows are research projects concerning environmental issues relevant to the Grand Traverse region. They are designed to be conducted by small groups of students (2-3) in upper elementary through high school. These research projects have been developed with the cooperation of members of the E-Teach Consortium and are based upon current, local environmental issues. Each project has several quality websites, names of local experts to be contacted and an open-ended question to answer. These projects are designed to be open-ended to encourage students to develop solutions/answers to important environmental issues for the Grand Traverse Region.

NEW JERSEY COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH EDUCATION AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION CURRICULUM FRAMEWORK
The New Jersey Mathematics Curriculum Framework was developed to provide information, guidance, and assistance to teachers and curriculum developers in implementing the mathematics standards adopted by the New Jersey State Board of Education in 1996. The Framework was presented to the Board in January 1997. Virginia Dept of Education
The Standards of Learning Curriculum Framework amplifies the Standards of Learning and defines the content knowledge, skills, and understandings that are measured by the Standards of Learning tests. The Curriculum Framework provides additional guidance to school divisions and their teachers as they develop an instructional program appropriate for their students. It assists teachers as they plan their lessons by identifying essential understandings, defining essential content knowledge, and describing the intellectual skills students need to use. This supplemental framework delineates in greater specificity the minimum content that all teachers should teach and all students should learn. School Divisions should use the Curriculum Framework as a resource for developing sound curricular and instructional programs. This curriculum framework should not limit the scope of instructional programs. Additional knowledge and skills that can enrich instruction and enhance students' understanding of the content identified in the Standards of Learning should be included as part of quality learning experiences.

IGDA Curriculum Framework The Study of Games and Game Development
The Education Committee of the International Game Development Association came into being three years ago, an unprecedented cooperative effort between the game industry and academia. At that time, only a few pioneering educators viewed games as a sophisticated medium of expression – a cultural and economic force that deserved study and attracted increasing numbers of students. Similarly, only a handful of game developers saw the value in forging relationships with academia, jumpstarting valuable research programs, creating a common language, and building a shared knowledge base for discussing games.
