Beesoondial, Lecturer in the English Department of the MIE, takes up the
challenge to stage an experimental theatrical performance at the MIE on
the life of Mahatma Gandhi seen through the dairies of Gandhi's Secretary and
aid Mahadevbahi. Accompanied by live musical he portrays no less
than 10 characters in a solo performance. He mingles with the audience to
provide a unique brand of theatre hardly experimented in Mauritius. The show
begins with a presentation on Gandhi in the Lecture Theatre and the
audience moves to the 7th Floor of the MIE tower to discover Indian History and
the amazing talents of Asish
